Summers Off for Teachers from 16Ways

The 16Ways Summers Off program attempts to free dedicated educators from pressures of summer employment by eliminating the financial burden of classroom supplies.  Each year, we select 5-7 exceptional teachers who typically work second jobs to fund educational materials for their students.

 

Recipients participate in an exclusive, fully-funded "shopping experience" where they can select all the classroom resources they would otherwise purchase out-of-pocket. This comprehensive supply provision ensures teachers can truly take their summers off to rest and recharge, rather than working extra hours to finance next year's educational materials.

 

By removing this significant financial pressure, 16Ways helps prevent teacher burnout while ensuring classrooms remain well-equipped with the resources needed for dynamic learning environments—all without teachers sacrificing their well-deserved summer break.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
