16Ways Track Club experienced another impressive season. Membership has grown to 85 school-aged children six to 18. Of the 85 members, 27, who qualified for the 2023 Junior Olympics, made the trek to Iowa to compete. Our hearts were filled with pride at seven All-American qualifiers and one national champion. Additionally, we broke the 4 x 4 state record. These stats are quite impressive, but the support we get from the athletes’ parents is unmatched. It is now that we extend heartfelt thanks to them for enduring long, multiple-day practices per week for months and climate conditions that are often brutal. Parent supporters have lent their coaching skillsets when needed, and most important, they have trusted the 16Ways coaching staff to nurture their children. 16Ways Track Club would not thrive without parent support; we thank you.
